Admission Procedure 2026–2027
Admissions are now open for the academic year 2026–2027. ELIMS College of Pharmacy invites applications from eligible candidates for its undergraduate pharmacy programs. Explore the eligibility criteria and admission process for each program below.
B. Pharm (4 Years)
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) of the Government of Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent with 50% marks in Biology/Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics put together.
Admission Process
50% Merit seats are filled through the KEAM rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The remaining 50% Management quota seats are filled by the Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy College Management Association (KSSPCMA).
Pharm.D (6 Years)
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) of the Government of Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent with 50% marks in Biology/Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics put together.
Admission Process
Admission is through the rank list prepared by the Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy College Management Association (KSSPCMA).
D. Pharm (2 Years)
Regulated by PCI Education Regulations 1991 · Admissions through DME, Kerala · Affiliated to KUHS
Eligibility
A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) of the Government of Kerala or an examination recognised as equivalent, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and one of Biology, Mathematics or Computer Science as the optional subject. Minimum age 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Admission Process
Admissions are governed by the prospectus issued by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Kerala. 50% Merit (Government) seats are filled by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on the rank list / index marks of the qualifying examination. The remaining 50% Management quota seats are filled by the Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy College Management Association (KSSPCMA).
Diploma awarded by KUHS on completion of the 2-year course and 500 hours (minimum 3 months) of practical training in a hospital or community pharmacy.
Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) — 3 Years
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed B.Pharm degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India are eligible to join the Pharm.D (PB) programme.
Admission Process
Admission is through the rank list prepared by the Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy College Management Association (KSSPCMA). Total intake: 10 seats. Programme includes 2 years of academic study followed by 1 year of clinical internship at Daya General Hospital, Thrissur.
M.Pharm Pharmaceutics (2 Years)
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Pharm degree from a PCI-approved institution, having secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate, and a valid GPAT score (where applicable) as per KUHS norms.
Admission Process
Admission is through the rank list prepared by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) / KSSPCMA, as per PCI Master Regulations 2014. Total intake: 15 seats across 4 semesters.
M.Pharm Pharmacy Practice (2 Years)
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree from a PCI-approved institution, having secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate, and a valid GPAT score (where applicable) as per KUHS norms.
Admission Process
Admission is through the rank list prepared by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) / KSSPCMA, as per PCI Master Regulations 2014. Total intake: 15 seats. Includes clinical postings at Daya General Hospital, Thrissur.
