Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)
M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics is a two-year postgraduate programme structured as per the Pharmacy Council of India (Master of Pharmacy Course Regulations, 2014) and the syllabus prescribed by Kerala University of Health Sciences. The programme prepares pharmacy graduates as specialists in the formulation, design, manufacture and evaluation of dosage forms.
The first year (Semester I & II) builds advanced theoretical foundations through subjects such as Modern Pharmaceutical Analytical Techniques, Drug Delivery Systems, Modern Pharmaceutics, Regulatory Affairs, Molecular Pharmaceutics (Nano Tech and Targeted DDS) and Advanced Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics. The second year (Semester III & IV) is devoted to research, with seminars, journal clubs and an independent research project leading to a dissertation.
Students gain hands-on training in modern instrumentation and pharmaceutical product development, equipping them for careers in pharmaceutical R&D, formulation development, regulatory affairs, academia and the pharmaceutical industry.

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed B.Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST as per KUHS norms). Candidates must qualify the GPAT examination conducted by NTA, or the Kerala State PG Entrance Examination, as per current admission norms.
How to Apply
Admission to M.Pharm seats is regulated by the Kerala University of Health Sciences and the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Kerala based on the centralized PG allotment process. 50% Merit seats are filled through the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations; Management quota is filled by KSSPCMA.
