B. Pharm Lateral Entry

The candidate who has passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course as per Education Regulations 1991, under Pharmacy Act, 1948, from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India with minimum 50% marks is eligible for lateral entry admission to B. Pharm program.

The B. Pharm Lateral Entry scheme allows D.Pharm holders to enter directly into the 2nd year (III Semester) of the four-year B.Pharm degree program. This pathway enables diploma holders to upgrade their qualification to a bachelor's degree in a shorter time frame, opening up higher education and career advancement opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.

Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for the B. Pharm Lateral Entry program:

  • Passed D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) course as per Education Regulations 1991 under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • The D.Pharm must be from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the D.Pharm examination.
